Wondering why Apex Legends cross-progression isn’t working for you?

The arrival of the Apex Legends Season 19 update marks the addition of the cross-progression feature, which allows players to carry their progress with them across different platforms. This means that players can access their content and continue playing from where they left off, regardless of the platform they are using.

However, it seems like many players are having a hard time enabling cross-progression in the game due to some glitch. If it’s also happening to you, here’s how you can fix this annoying issue in Apex Legends.

According to Respawn’s official statement, cross-progression will be gradually rolling out to Apex Legends accounts over the coming weeks. So if you face the cross-progression not working issue, you'll just have to be patient and wait for the feature to reach you.

The game developers have advised players not to link or unlink their accounts to speed up the cross-progression process. This will not change when you get the cross-progression prompt. so don't bother doing that.

How does cross-progression work in Apex Legends?

Similar to other video games, cross-progression gives you access to your account, progress, and cosmetics no matter what platform you’re playing on. All you have to do is log in to your EA Account on the platform you want to play on.

Your Apex Legends progress is permanently tied to your EA Account and can’t be moved to another account after you’ve started. If you’re new to Apex Legends, make sure to create an account with the EA Account you want to use. If you’re an existing player, make sure to play on the EA Account that you’ve played Apex Legends on before.

If you have multiple accounts, they will be combined into one. The account with the highest level will be your main account, and you will keep its badges and stats. However, any badges and stats from your other accounts will not be transferred.

Please note: Stats cannot be merged across platforms, so they will default to your primary profile. Any badges tied to stats from other profiles merged into your EA Account may not be available.
