Let's be honest, the biggest reason we pick up any generation of Pokemon games is to see which new 'Mon are adding themselves to the ever-growing Pokedex. It seems like only yesterday we were introduced to Alcremie and Rillaboom, but as we leave the Galar region behind us, it's off to Paldea.

Despite critiques that we're ratting through the generations a little too quickly, who isn't excited for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? These Spanish-themed vistas are bringing three new starters with them, and as we wait for the game's full release, we're combing the internet for even a hint of what Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Sprigatito turn into.

Warning: Pokemon Scarlet and Violet spoilers ahead

What Are The Gen 9 Evolutions?

As with any Pokemon game, it isn't just the big three that are new to these unexplored lands. Gen 9 is bringing a whole host of imaginative creatures with it. From the slew of trailers, we've already got to learn more about the pint-sized Smoliv, Medieval-inspired Armarogue, and big boy Lechonk

We warned you that Scarlet and Violet leaks are out there in the wild, but as we near the official release, they're duplicating like Dittos. If you don't want to (potentially) know what all the Gen 9 monsters evolve into, turn back now. Over on Twitter, Poke Ayu has pulled together a list of all the new additions and what they'll reportedly turn into.

In the limelight this time, we've got word that Smoliv will have a three-stage evolution into Dolliv and then Idoliv. Fidough evolves into Barkery, and Lechonk becomes the amazingly named Jabanquet. There are previously unrevealed creatures like a presumably Flamingo-esque Flamigo, as well as buggy Locustice, and watery Dophino. That's if you believe all of the above.

What Do Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Sprigatito Evolve Into?

Obviously, the big talking points are Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Sprigatito. All three have typical three-stage evolutions that we expect from starters. Although we don't get to see what they look like, they apparently go as follows:

Fuecoco > Crocalor > Lulligator

Sprigatito > Gatrixy > Caliquin

Quaxly > Quaffure > Quaxelence

There are some interesting bits here. Namely, Fuecoco's final form could be a fire/ghost, and that those ideas that Quxly will turn into some sort of Elvis tribute based on its hair. Even now though, there are those that claim these leaks aren't quite on the mark. It's a sad state of affairs some could still be faking leaks so close to release. Until Pokemon Scarlet and Violet release on November 18, we'll have to wait and see.
