It's been a terrible week for video game developers when it comes to leaks. Our hearts go out to Insomniac Games and Rocksteady Studios, as their upcoming titles have been hit by a slew of leaks. When it comes to Insomniac, it was subject to a brutal ransomware attack

As Rockstar Games is well aware with GTA 6, it's hard to keep a lid on anything these days. The latest victim of spoiler woes is Rocksteady, with the Arkhamverse overseer having major beats of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League ruined ahead of its February 2 release.

More than just, "Here's a Harley Quinn variant outfit," these Kill the Justice League leaks have spoiled everything from shocking character deaths to post-release modes, potential DLC additions to major character deaths. While we've heard about some of these already, they're now backed up by cold, hard, evidence.

Kill the Justice League leaks started doing the rounds following a closed alpha tech test in November, and while the likes of emote dances weren't particularly interesting, dataminers dived deeper into the alpha and found a goldmine of reveals.

While we won't go into the leaks in detail, there's a major arc for Batman, which is sure to be a poignant moment since the tragic passing of voice actor Kevin Conroy. If you want to go into Kill the Justice League blind, you'd best start muting on Twitter. The internet is currently a minefield of story spoilers.

Rocksteady 'disappointed' by Kill the Justice League leaks

Similar to when Rockstar spoke out about the GTA 6 and seemingly confirmed their legitimacy, Rocksteady has broken its silence on the deluge and acknowledged that Kill the Justice League might not have many surprises left when it launches.

You might remember when The Last of Us Part II was struck by a massive story leak just weeks before launch, which Neil Druckmann has since told Kinda Funny Games was one of the worst days of his life. Posting in response to the leaks, the Rocksteady team said it was "very disappointing" to see KTJL spoilers out there in the wild.

"We're looking forward to players experiencing the story we've crafted in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League once the game launches in the new year," says the post. "We hope everyone can play the game and each moment of the narrative for themselves."

"It is very disappointing to see details being shared ahead of the game's release, so we can only urge you to try to avoid spoilers where you can. And please try not to impact the enjoyment of other players by posting spoilers."

With James Gunn hinting that this isn't the end of the Arkhamverse, at least it sounds like Rocksteady will get to return to this world to craft another of its superhero adventures. Hopefully, we'll be able to get to release day without having that one spoiled.
