Click to enlargeThe October Community Day 2023 event for Timburr in Pokemon GO is taking place on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 2PM to 5PM local time. This was confirmed in the event's announcement post.
During this timeframe, Timburr will be appearing far more frequently on the map so you can farm as much Timburr Candy as possible to evolve and enjoy all of the other various bonuses.

Exclusive Timburr move in Pokemon GO Community Day
Click to enlargeContinuing the Community Day's trend of exclusive moves, if you evolve a Gurdurr (Timburr's evolution) between 2PM and 10PM on the October 15 event, your new Conkledurr will know the featured attack Brutal Swing.
A Dark-type Charged Move offering 65 Power for Trainer Battles as well as Gyms and Raids, Brutal Swing isn't the best exclusive move to ever come out of a Pokemon GO Community Day.
Nevertheless, the attack would still make for an interesting strategic Conkeldurr build if you were aiming to use a surprise counter against opponents using Psychic or Ghost-types.
What is the Timburr evolution level?
Click to enlargeAlthough the Timburr evolution level is 25 in the mainline Game Freak games, the way to evolve the Muscle Pokemon into Gurdurr and Conkledurr works differently in Pokemon GO.
Like with other creatures in the game, you evolve Timburr in Pokemon GO by selecting the "Evolve" option in its individual summary page - then spending 25 Timburr Candy to evolve it into Gurdurr.
Then, to reach the final Timburr evolution, the level of Candy you'll need to spend again to evolve Gurdurr into Conkeldurr is 200 Timburr Candy.

Bonuses in Timburr Pokemon GO Community Day
Click to enlargeIt wouldn't be a Pokemon GO Community Day without a wealth of bonuses for taking part, and thankfully, the Timburr event has plenty of them:
- Twice as much Candy when catching Pokemon
- Three times as much Stardust for every caught Pokemon
- Double the chance for Candy XL when players level 31+ catch Pokemon
- Incense will last for three hours instead of 60 minutes
- Lure Modules will last for three hours instead of 30 minutes
- A chance for Timburr photobomb encounters
- Trades will cost half as much Stardust
- Two Special Trades for the day are allowed instead of one
The Timburr Community Day's blog post has also stated that although most bonuses only run during the event from 2PM until 5PM, both bonuses concerning Trades and Special Trades will be active until 10PM.

Is there a Special Research on Timburr Community Day?
Click to enlargeIn line with other Community Day events in Pokemon GO, the Timburr event will have its own optional paid Special Research Story: Muscle Memories.
Although the exact details of the Special Research story are yet to be revealed, paying the $1.00 ticket price (or equivalent in your local currency) will grant you additional story content to enhance the Community Day altogether.
As someone who's paid for the event-exclusive Special Research for previous Community Days like in the Chespin event, I would say it's well worth the price. The tasks usually involve catching the featured Pokemon to get more encounters and Candy as a reward - including encounters with that Pokemon's evolved forms.
If you're fully committing yourself to the Community Day by trying to catch as many Timburr as you can and farming as much Candy as possible, you can't go wrong with treating yourself to a Muscle Memories ticket.
