The Lost Ark Salt Giant is one of the world bosses that players can track down and kill for exclusive rewards during their adventures around Arkesia. If you're new to Lost Ark the world bosses may be a bit confusing and difficult, due to the large amount of mechanics they have, and the spawn timers they often operate on. So here's everything you need to know about defeating the Lost Ark Salt Giant.

Where is the Salt Giant in Lost Ark?

The Salt Giant can be found in Saland Hills in the large central section of the location. Saland Hills can be found on the Aregal Salt Plains. Check out this map below for the exact Salt Giant's location.

Like the other Lost Ark World Bosses, the Salt Giant shares similar traits to bosses in New World, with them being open to everyone to fight at any time rather than being part of scripted events. This means that there is a chance that you could head to Saland Hills and the Salt Giant is nowhere to be seen.

If this happens, then the respawn time for World Bosses is 30 minutes, meaning that you could be in for a long wait, but the best thing to do is just hang around the area and make sure you're ready to fight the World Boss before someone else does again.

  • Another World Boss players have having trouble finding is the Lost Ark Rovlen location, so our guide has all you need to know.

How to beat the Salt Giant

The Salt Giant is a very difficult World Boss, with it having a large area of effect and attacks that can take out a player very quickly if you are unable to dodge in time. Since all of its attacks are at the front though, you should focus on attacking from its back.

This fight is made even harder by the fact that the Salt Giant has over 10 million HP, meaning that this is a very long and drawn-out fight. One thing that sets this boss fight apart from others such as the Lost Ark Rudric is that it will not summon other enemies to help.

If you're looking to take out the Salt Giant early on then you will likely not succeed, and even when you reach the higher levels, it'll still be a struggle. To have the best chance at defeating the Salt Giant, you're best off teaming up with some more players and tackling this fight as a group.
