You will need to know how to find the Lost Ark Rudric world boss and defeat him at some point during your game, as killing world bosses is important for earning XP and gaining power. In Lost Ark, Rudric was a high priest within the Holy Sacrian Empire who now lurks in a Graveyard waiting for his next fight, so you may as well give him one. Check out how to defeat the Lost Ark Rudric world boss.

Where is Rudric in Lost Ark?

Rudric can be found in the southwest part of the Graveyard which is located within Rethramis Border. However, there may be a chance that when you arrive at the Graveyard Rudric isn't there. Check out this map below for Rudric's exact location.

The Lost Ark World Bosses act very similar to how they do in other games such as New World. Since Lost Ark is an MMORPG, the boss battles aren't scripted events, instead, they are open to everyone to fight at any time.

This means that if you arrive and Rudric isn't there, someone has recently defeated him and you will have to wait for him to respawn. The respawn time appears to be somewhere around 30 minutes so you will just have to wait for a little and make sure you're the next player to fight Rudric.

How to beat Rudric in Lost Ark

The High Priest Rudric can prove to be a difficult challenge, especially if you're intending on defeating him on your own. This boss fight is much easier to do if you can gather a team of players to help, which should be much easier to do now that the game is a few days old and the servers shouldn't be getting as overloaded.

Regardless of whether you decide to take on Rudric alone or with friends, you are going to need to stock up on plenty of potions as this will be a difficult fight and he can deal a lot of damage.

There is a lot more room to move around during the Rudric fight, which is something that often isn't the case with other bosses. This means that it can be easier to keep your distance if you're using a ranged class such as a Mage or Gunner.

Rudric relies on melee and close-ranged attacks, so if you've chosen a class such as a Warrior or Martial Artist, you will have to deal with that and this is when you will rely on potions a lot.

Rudric's main attack sees him swing his scythe, which can knock you back as it hits. But, it can be easy to dodge thanks to the delay between the area of effect cone appearing and the attack animation happening.

If you're using a ranged character this will be much easier to avoid, but if you're using a melee character then you will have to figure out a pattern of movement as the fight progresses and use many potions and grenades to get through the fight.

If you're part of a team this should be much easier as there will be many different classes that can fulfill many different roles, including melee and ranged, as well as players being tanks to absorb punishment, support roles to heal the team, or more attack focused to take down Rudric.
