The Event Guardians are a returning activity to Lost Ark for the recent Under the Arkesian Sun update, which will run through August and into September. Event Guardians are a twist on the standard Guardian Raids that players can take part in after reaching the end-game, where players can take on three Guardians at once with a group, or in solo. You will need to have reached combat level 50, and item level 250 at least to take part, much like the Guardian Raids, and a Scale of Balance is applied so that players are appropriately levelled for the fights.

The goal of these activities, is to attack an Event Guardian, which will cause them to drop buffs that stack up to three times, increasing your damage massively to help you deal with the others.

After slaying all of the Guardians, you will be rewarded tokens which drop from reward chests with other goodies, but the tokens can only be claimed one a day per character. The tokens can then be spent at an event specific vendor who has unique and valuable goods for sale. To best make use of the vendor, complete Event Guardians every day and maximise your tokens.

That's all for our primer on the brand-new Lost Ark Event Guardians, and now you know what purpose they serve in the Under the Arkesian Sun update for August.
