The 'Universal storage missing' issue in Lost Ark seems to affect many players, and for seemingly no reason most of the time, making it hard to claim rewards you may be owed for your time exploring Arkesia and performing all manner of activities.

Lost Ark is a massive MMO, so it's expected that things don't always go to plan, even if it's as simple as a storage chest not working properly. So if you need a quick primer on this problem, including what might be causing it, and if there are fixes, we've got you covered below:

How to fix the bug

If you do find that the Universal Storage option isn't appearing even after you have gained an achievement, try logging out of the server and back in, or outright restart the game. Once you jump back in, the issue should have fixed itself, allowing you to use the Universal Storage.

What is the bug?

The Universal Storage is a special chest shared amongst your character roster where your rewards are stored, allowing you to claim them with a few simple clicks to aid you on your journeys. It can be accessed from the Game Menu, under the Guide tab, or by clicking the Guide icon (compass) at the bottom right of the screen. However, sometimes players will find that the option is missing in both menus, and they might not be sure why it's not there.

Thankfully, it's likely not a bug that's affecting this, as the Universal Storage option only appears after you unlock an achievement and have a reward item that can be claimed. There are many achievements to earn during your travels in Lost Ark, and most of them allow you to claim powerful rewards. Once you have claimed them, the Universal Storage option will disappear until you earn another reward.

That's all for our primer on the Lost Ark Universal Storage missing problem, and now you know that you will need to earn an achievement and reward for the option to appear.
