You may be wondering what Lost Ark Fused Leapstones are, as they have just been recently added to the game, giving players another option for increasing their item level and progressing further through the end-game.

Once you reach level 50 in Lost Ark, your focus will switch to increasing the level of your equipment, which lets you grow in power and effectiveness during combat. There are a few ways to do this in the game, but the Lost Ark Fused Leapstones give players an additional option while playing. So, here's our primer on how they work, and where you can find them.

What Are Lost Ark Fused Leapstones?

Honing your gear is the most important thing to do during the end-game of Lost Ark, and Fused Leapstones provide players with another method to increase their equipped item level. Essentially, by using one, you will have a small chance to upgrade your gear further, letting you avoid spending Lost Ark Gold, Stones, Silver, and the other resources that levelling up often requires.

Considering it's a chance at earning a free level-up for your gear, they are always worth using when you have one. To use one, go to any honing character at a settlement or town, speak to them, and select "Special Honing."

Fused Leapstones are only available for players with an item level of 1415, meaning they are only useful for the upper echelon of end-game players right now. They also don't count toward the Artisan's Energy system, which gives players a guaranteed upgrade if they fail a certain number of attempts. Regardless of their downsides, the chance at a free upgrade is a good prospect.

There is currently only one method to get Fused Leapstones in Lost Ark, which is taking part in the brand-new Legion Raid events. These are similar to the Abyssal Dungeons or Guardian Raid events, but are much more difficult and contain unique mechanics. The only available Legion Raid currently is for Beast Commander Valtan, and Fused Leapstones have a chance at dropping after defeating him. You can only do one Legion Raid a week, so if none of the items you need drop, you will sadly need to wait another week.

That's all you need to know about the Fused Leapstones in Lost Ark, and now you know what purpose they serve, and how you can have a chance at earning them.
