If you’re a fan of the Harry Potter series, seeing all your favourite locations and learning iconic spells will undoubtedly be at the top of your to-do list. Hogwarts Legacy aims to recapture the magic of the series and allow players an opportunity to throw themselves into school life for the very first time.

How do you unlock The Room of Requirement?

If you’ve been following the pre-release marketing for Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll most likely know that The Room of Requirement somewhat acts as a base of operations. It’s here you can craft potions, care for magical creatures, and really turn the place into your own.

With so much content to sink your teeth into, if you’ve just jumped into Hogwarts Legacy, you are most likely desperate to get to this part of the game and begin making your own little space away from the hustle and bustle of the halls of Hogwarts.

It’s most likely reassuring to know it shouldn’t take you that long to unlock it - depending on how you decide to follow the story. If you decide to stick to the main path and complete every story quest available, it should only take a few hours. For anyone exploring in between, it may take longer.

Eventually, you will run into a quest known as The Room of Requirement, which will set you about discovering its location and unlocking it for us after you’ve completed the initial tutorial. From that point forward, you will be able to explore and use The Room of Requirement to your heart’s content.
