Hogwarts Legacy will require you to have quite a beefy PC system, despite the game bizarrely coming to the low-end Nintendo Switch. Here are the following minimum PC system requirements you need to enjoy Hogwarts Legacy. You should also keep in mind that HDD is indeed supported, but the developers recommend you install an SSD hard drive for this game instead.

  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-6600 (3.3 GHz) OR AMD Ryzen 5 1400 (3.2 GHz)

  • DirectX: Version 12

If you want to experience Hogwarts Legacy's multiple endings in spectacular graphical detail, you may need to upgrade your PC. Here are the Hogwarts Legacy recommended specs that the publisher WB Games suggests.

  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-8700 (3.2 GHz) OR AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (3.6 GHz)
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 1080 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT or INTEL Arc A770
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 85 GB available space
  • Additional: SSD, 1080p/60fps, high-quality settings.

A 1080 Ti can be a little expensive at around $250, but if you're reading this before the game's release, you still have time to save. After acquiring this graphics card and the other optimal specs, you may want to participate in Hogwarts Legacy's early access period.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to access PlayStation's exclusive content, at least not right away.
