If you’re trying to build a great set of Perks for Stranger Things' Nancy Wheeler following her return in Dead by Daylight, we've got a breakdown of how to use all of her unique Perks to help you get off on the right foot.

Alongside Steve Harrington and The Demogorgon, fan-favourite Nancy Wheeler has arguably some of the best Perks for Survivors in DbD that are crucial when building some incredibly powerful builds in the game. Giving you the option to do everything from moving faster while displaying your scratch marks to healing mid-chase, you'll absolutely want to add some of these to your loadouts.

Nancy Wheeler’s Perks in DbD largely revolve around self-preservation, helping to keep other Survivors informed while increasing your awareness of how the Killer can track you.

Having builds that complement these can help you even out in a pinch, even when facing off against some of the higher-tier Killers.

Who doesn’t love a locker in DbD? I know I do, and since Nancy’s introduction with her Inner Strength Perk, the Locker Build is one I run on all my Survivor mains, regardless of whether it's Gabriel Soma or Nicolas Cage.

Perk

Description

Inner Strength

After cleansing a Totem, this Perk activates. You will be able to hop into a locker to fully heal yourself.

Flashbang

Leon S. Kennedy

After repairing a Generator for a set amount of time, you can hop into a locker to craft a Flashbang.

Quick and Quiet

Meg Thomas

Performing a rushed action such as vaulting or jumping in a locker is silent.

Head On

Jane Romero

While inside a locker, you can burst out and stun a Killer.

Sometimes you need to stop, slow down, and walk instead of running, which causes you to leave scratch marks effectively everywhere that the Killer can then use to track you.

Fortunately, Nancy’s Fixated Perk helps you to keep track of your trail so you’re not putting yourself in danger - you can even use it to confuse the Killer in some instances, too.

If you’ve lost your teammates and need a helping hand with a Generator, Nancy’s Better Together Perk is a light in The Fog that can guide your teammates to help you in DbD.

Survivor

Description

Better Together

Nancy Wheeler

The aura of the Generator you’re currently working on is revealed to Survivors. If the Killer downs a Survivor while you’re repairing a Generator, you will see the auras of all other Survivors briefly.

Blast Mine

Jill Valentine

After repairing a Generator for a brief period, you will be given the option to place a Blast Mine on it. When the Killer kicks the active Generator, they will be stunned and blinded.

Wiretap

Ada Wong

After repairing a Generator for a brief period, you will be given the option to place a Wiretap on it. As long as the Wiretap is active, you can see the Killer’s aura when they are in close proximity to the Generator. The Wiretap will break if the Killer kicks the Generator.

Rookie Spirit

Leon S. Kennedy

Complete three Skill Checks while repairing a Generator to activate this Perk. You will be able to see the auras of all regressing Generators for the duration of the match.

Like all Survivors in Dead by Daylight, Nancy Wheeler has three unique Perks that can be taught to other characters:

During the period that the Stranger Things content was removed from Dead by Daylight, Nancy’s Perks were renamed to Situational Awareness, Self-Aware, and Inner Healing, becoming general Perks for all players to access.

Who is Nancy Wheeler in Dead by Daylight?

Nancy Wheeler is the plucky aspiring journalist who originally helped the kids from Stranger Things take on the horrors of The Upside Down. In Dead by Daylight, she continues on this same path of helping her teammates escape the clutches of The Entity.

While initially Steve Harrington’s girlfriend, their fractious relationship has turned heads in the series, but that doesn’t stop them from working together against the horrors in The Fog.
