With Stranger Things content firmly back in Dead by Daylight following its removal in 2021, you may be wondering about some of the best Perk builds you can run on The Demogorgon – so naturally we’re here to oblige.

Alongside The Xenomorph from Alien, The Demogorgon from Stranger Things was a fan-favourite licensed Killer that opened up the game to an entirely new player base.

So, we’re here to break down everything you need to know about The Demogorgon from Stranger Things in Dead by Daylight, from Power to Perks and some of the best builds that you can run on it.

What are The Demogorgon’s Perks in Dead by Daylight?

Like all Killers in Dead by Daylight, the Demogorgon comes with three unique Perks that can be taught to the other Killers in DbD:

Perk

Description

Cruel Limits

Whenever a Generator is completed, all Windows and Vault locations nearby become blocked for 30 seconds.

Mindbreaker

When a Survivor is repairing a Generator, they suffer from the Exhaustion and Blindness status effects.

Surge

When you put a Survivor into the Dying State with a Basic Attack, Generators nearby will explode and start regressing.

When the Stranger Things content was removed from DbD, these Perks had their names changed to Claustrophobia, Fearmonger and Jolt, and they became general Perks readily available in the Bloodweb for Killer players to claim with their Bloodpoints.

What is The Demogorgon’s Power in Dead by Daylight?

The Demogorgon’s Power is called Of The Abyss. It has several properties that allow The Demogorgon to traverse the map quickly by using Portals, and gain distance by attacking Survivors with a Shred attack.

The Shred attack has something of a hefty cooldown, and the Portals have to be placed before they can be activated and used. However, if Survivors want to break the Portals, they will suffer from the Oblivious status effect, meaning that, if they’re not careful, a canny Demogorgon could sneak up and grab them.

Surge is already one of the best Killer Perks in Dead by Daylight, so this is an opportunity to use it in a build that can be incredibly strong on The Demogorgon. This build will help in chases, tracking Survivors, hindering their progress and protecting Generators.
