With the best Genshin Impact Bennet builds, we share the best weapons and artifacts for Bennet that you can use to attain Pyro Support and Sub-DPS builds. Bennet is a four-star Pyro element user and a Sword wielder from Mondstadt whom you can obtain by performing wishes on the Wanderlust Invocation or any limited-time character event wish banner. Alternatively, you can buy Bennet for 34 Masterless Starglitter from Paimon's Bargain shop.

Bennet is one of the best, if not the best, Support characters in Genshin Impact. Seeing that, we have prepared the best Genshin Impact Bennet builds guide that will help a lot as you'll find a complete breakdown of Bennet's active and passive abilities and Constellations, along with some of the best team compositions for Bennet.

Best Genshin Impact Bennet Builds: Abilities

Bennet has three active abilities, Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst attack, which players can use in battle to support the main DPS or the Sub-DPS unit in the party. Bennet's Normal Attack is called Strike of Fortune. Players can use it to deal with low-level enemies encountered in the open world. Apart from that, Bennet's Strike of Fortune attack is rendered useless when dealing with Its scaling with Talent level-ups is decent. But, not that good. So, we recommend players not to invest Talent materials on Bennet's Normal Attack.

Here are the different types of Normal Attacks that Bennet has:

  • Normal Attack - Performs up to 5 rapid strikes.
  • Charged Attack - Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to unleash 2 rapid sword strikes.
  • Plunging Attack - Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Bennet's Elemental Skill, Passion Overload, has two different forms Press and Hold. You can make use of the Press form to generate energy particles. Meanwhile, you can use his Hold form to deal Pyro DMG to opponents. Though it's not that effective.

Here is what Bennet's Elemental Skill, Passion Overload, does:

  • Press - A single, swift flame strike that deals Pyro DMG.

  • Hold - Charges up, resulting in different effects when unleashed based on the Charge Level.
  • Level 1: Strikes twice, dealing Pyro DMG and launching opponents.
  • Level 2: Unleashes 3 consecutive attacks that deal impressive Pyro DMG, but the last attack triggers an explosion that launches both Bennett and the enemy.

The good thing about the Hold version of Bennet's Elemental Skill is that he doesn't take any damage when launched.

Now talking about Bennet's main ability, his Elemental Burst called Fantastic Voyage. This ability of Bennet makes him one of the best, if not the best, Support units in the entirety of Genshin Impact. Fantastic Voyage heals characters up to 70% depending on Bennet's Max HP while giving a massive ATK boost to the entire party under the ability's zone. The ATK boost scales with Bennet's ATK%. So, stacking up ATK and HP on Bennet will help you maximize his support potential.

Here is what Bennet's Elemental Burst does:

Bennett performs a jumping attack that deals Pyro DMG, creating an Inspiration Field.

  • Inspiration Field - If the health of a character within the AoE is equal to or falls below 70%, their health will continuously regenerate. The amount of HP restored scales off Bennett's Max HP
  • If the health of a character within the AoE is higher than 70%, they gain an ATK Bonus that is based on Bennett's Base ATK
  • Imbues characters within the AoE with Pyro

Bennet's best ability to use during battle

Bennet's Normal Attack talent and his Elemental Skill are not that effective. You can use the Elemental Skill, Passion Overload, to generate Energy Particles to ready up Bennet's or any other character's Elemental Burst quickly. You can even use it to apply Pyro during Elemental Reactions to trigger reactions like Melt, Overload, Vaporize, and others. However, all that cannot match the utility that Bennet's Elemental Burst, Fantastic Voyage, gives to the party. So, as per our experience of using Bennet, we say Fantastic Voyage is his best ability to use during battle. Bennet's second-best ability is the press version of Passion Overload.

Best Genshin Impact Bennet Builds: Passive Abilities

Bennet has three passive abilities, Rekindle, Fearnaught, and It Should Be Safe.... The first two passives are unlocked by ascending Bennet through his first and fourth ascension phases. Meanwhile, the last passive is a Utility Passive available from the get-go.

  • Rekindle - Decreases Passion Overload's CD by 20%
  • Fearnaught - When inside Fantastic Voyage's circle, Passion Overload's CD is decreased by 50%, and Bennett will not get launched by the skill's explosion
  • It Should Be Safe... - When dispatched on an expedition in Mondstadt, time consumed is reduced by 25%

Best Genshin Impact Bennet Builds: Constellations

There are six Constellations of Bennet that you can unlock by obtaining an extra copy of him. When you get a copy of Bennet, you get his Stella Fortuna, which you can use to unlock Bennet's Constellations.

Here is what Bennet's all six Constellations look like:

  • C1: Grand Expectation - Fantastic Voyage's ATK increase no longer has an HP restriction, and gains an additional 20% of Bennett's Base ATK.
  • C2: Impasse Conqueror - When Bennett's HP falls below 70%, his Energy Recharge is increased by 30%.
  • C3: Unstoppable Fervor - Increases the Level of Passion Overload by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.
  • C4: Unexpected Odyssey - Using a Normal Attack when executing the second attack of Passion Overload's Charge Level 1 allows an additional attack to be performed. This additional attack does 135% of the second attack's DMG.
  • C5: True Explorer - Increases the Level of Fantastic Voyage by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.
  • C6: Fire Ventures with Me - Sword, Claymore, or Polearm-wielding characters inside Fantastic Voyage's radius gain a 15% Pyro DMG Bonus and their weapons are infused with Pyro.

Should you get C6 Constellation on Bennet?

No, we do not recommend players to get C6 Bennet as the said Constellation imbues the party members' weapon - except Bow and Catalyst users - with Pyro. This limits the triggering of Elemental Reactions, making the C6 Constellation a major letdown as Genshin Impact's gameplay heavily relies on Elemental Reactions and Synergies.

Best Genshin Impact Bennet Builds: Support, Sub-DPS

The best build for Bennet is Pyro Support. You can use him as a Sub-DPS by leveling up his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst talents. But, we don't recommend the Sub-DPS build as there is a myriad of other characters who can act as DPS or Sub-DPS units with low materials and Mora investment compared to Bennet. Below you can find the best weapons and artifacts to attain the best Support build for Bennet.

Best Weapons for Bennet

The best five-star weapon for Bennet is the Skyward Blade as its secondary stat increases Bennet's Energy Reacharge% by 55.1%. Meanwhile, its weapon skill called Sky-Piercing Fang increases the CRIT Rate by 4%. Good for supporting DPS units like Keqing, Kamisato Ayaka, and others whose DMG potential depends on Normal Attack talent.

The best four-star weapons for Bennet are the Festering Desire, the Sacrificial Sword, and the Iron Sting. The Festering Desire sword secondary stat increases Bennet's Energy Recharge by 45.9%. While its weapon skill, Undying Admiration, increases Elemental Skill DMG by 16% and Elemental Skill CRIT Rate by 6%. A good weapon for creating a Sub-DPS Bennet.

Now talking about the other four-star weapon, the Sacrificial Sword, its secondary stat increases Bennet's Energy Recharge by 61.3%, and it's weapon skill, Composed, has a 40% chance to end and Elemental Skill's cooldown at every thirty seconds interval.

The Iron Sting is the best free-to-play weapon that you can use with characters like Kazuha, Bennet, and a few others. The Iron Sting increases Bennet's Elemental Mastery by 165. And, its weapon skill, Infusion Stinger, increases all DMG by 6% for 6s for a maximum of two stacks at every one second whenever you deal Elemental DMG.
