Right off the heels of The Awakening Collection Event, the Apex Legends Summer Sundown Event is here to kick off the summer season. While not as grandiose as some in-game events, the Summer Sundown is an opportunity to grab some stylish cosmetics and boost through those final few levels of the Apex Legends Season 13 Battle Pass.

This guide will overview everything we know so far about the Apex Legends Summer Sundown Event.

Apex Legends Summer Sundown Event: Release Date

The Apex Legends Summer Sundown Event is scheduled for July 5, 2022, and will run for two weeks (until July 19).

The dates were confirmed via Respawn's website.

Respawn Entertainment designed the Apex Legends Summer Sundown Event cosmetics with the hypebeast in mind. The slew of Skins coming with this event are all inspired by streetwear fashion. In fact, the Summer Sale Store will feature the return of a couple of the Apex Legends x Market collaboration Skins.

A while back, popular streetwear clothing brand, Market, partnered with Apex Legends to design four unique streetwear-inspired Skins for Wraith, Bloodhound, Mirage, and Lifeline. Originally released in November of 2021, now's your chance to add Ringside Wraith and Sundown Desperado Bloodhound to your collection if you missed out the first time.

Streetwear Valkyrie

Timed perfectly with the release of the Apex Legends Valkyrie Heirloom, a Streetwear Valkyrie Skin headlines the Summer Sundown offerings. This Cyberpunk version of Valkyrie is sure to turn heads in the Apex Games.

Finally, Streetwear Octane wraps up the primary Summer Sundown Event cosmetics. Apex Legends Octane looks a bit goofy swagged out in casual clothing, but there's no denying how the Skin stands out.

These Skins will likely be sold in Bundles at discounted prices and contain Apex Packs and other accessory cosmetics.

Apex Legends Summer Sundown Event: Free Prize Track

The Apex Legends Summer Sundown Event prize track features meagre offerings in the cosmetic category, but that's not what it was created for. This specific prize track serves as an end-of-season catch-up opportunity for those still needing to complete the Apex Legends Season 13 Battle Pass. Completing the free prize track will net you 29 Battle Pass Stars. Along with the Battle Stars, the Summer Sundown Event prize track includes some Crafting Materials and a sweet Holospray.

The Apex Legends Summer Sundown Event is an opportunity to grab some of Apex Legends' finest Skins at a discounted price. And if it's anything like previous Summer Sales, it might be a very long time before you see any of these cosmetics in the Apex Legends Store again. With that said, make sure to join in on the midsummer fun starting in early July.
