Twitch streamer Zack "Asmongold" has clearly chosen a side in the Pokimane vs. Ninja saga. Adding his voice to the mix, Asmongold has now openly slammed Ninja after his team threatened Pokimane with legal action, following "untrue" accusations she made against him.

The internet has been ablaze with the drama surrounding Imane "Pokimane" Anys and Tyler "Ninja" Blevins. It all began when popular YouTuber JiDion was permanently banned from Twitch for harassing Pokimane both on Twitch and Twitter. Ninja then made some interesting comments about the drama during one of his streams, including how he appeared to send a text to his Twitch rep to help have JiDion's ban revoked. Pokimane then proceeded to criticise Ninja's comments online, which only caused more drama as she then found herself being threatened with legal action from Ninja's wife and manager, Jessica Blevins for "spreading outright lies."

The streaming community responded in their droves, with many switching between both sides of the argument. However, one individual who has made his stance very clear is Asmongold who has accused Ninja of being "100% wrong."

What Did Asmongold Say About Ninja?

In the heat of the Pokimane vs. Ninja drama, Pokimane shared a screenshot of a text she received from Jessica Blevins saying that she had involved her legal team because Pokimane had been "spewing lies". During his stream on January 17, Asmongold read the text for himself and was horrified by the legal threat. Taking a firm stance on Pokimane's side, Asmongold said: "This is just 100% Ninja being wrong [...] This is literally 100% Ninja wrong."

The popular World of Warcraft player also stated that he believes Ninja to be worse than JiDion, who sent a hate raid to spam Pokimane's stream, because at least JiDion eventually apologised for his harassment and isn't threatening Pokimane with legal action. In the rant, Asmongold said: "This is worse in my opinion [...] bringing out the legal team, like holy f*ck man. It's not her responsibility to smooth things over for people who are hurting her and making statements towards her that are not true."

Of course, this isn't the first time the streamer has spoken out against something he disagrees with. For example, he has been openly vocal about the "trashWoW community.

What Has Pokimane Said About The Debate?

Both Ninja and Jessica Blevins have been fairly quiet following the heat of the dispute. However, Pokimane has been open and honest about how the threat of a legal dispute has affected her. During her appearance in a stream with her friend Matthew "Mizif" Rinaudo, Pokimane was clearly grateful for the all the support she received. She stated: "When I was getting these DMs from Jessica and from Ninja, and even the DMs about legal action — when I keep that stuff to myself, it makes me feel like I’m carrying this massive weight, and burden, and stress, and anxiety on my own."

The 25-year-old shared: "Being able to talk about it publicly and having you guys talk about it and support me however you can, it alleviates my stress so much. It makes me feel not alone and scared, which is how I for sure feel every time I read sh*t like that in my DMs."
