For a bunch of people who largely make their money sitting in chairs and chatting about what they're having for dinner, there's a lot of drama in streamer communities.

Whether it be playing video games, reacting to TikToks, or just sitting and chatting, streamers across the various platforms that host them always seem to find a reason to take shots at each other - calling each other out seemingly for the clout the backlash will give them.

And now, one of the medium's most recognisable streamers has had to push back against some pretty hefty claims. Could a bitter rivalry between Imane "Pokimane" Anys and Tyler "Trainwrecks" Niknam be about to open up?

Pokimane pushes back against claims of being "corrupt"

In a recent stream from Pokimane, creator Trainwrecks tried to clear the air after some previous beef, but he sorely underestimated her willingness to let go.

After Trainwrecks donated 100,000 bits to her October 8 stream (which amounts to $1,000), he added in a message, "I figure since you say it’s a positive day and it’s all about love that we settle our differences and at the very least be neutral." However, Pokimane pushed back.

Claiming she wasn't looking for beef, she adds, "Why did you call me the most corrupt person on Twitch? I want to know, and then we can move on."

After Trainwrecks feigned ignorance, Pokimane pulled up an article proving that he'd said it - and Trainwrecks clearly didn't know what to do about it.

After Poki presented receipts that Trainwrecks had called her corrupt, he said in chat, "I think we can both agree to disagree on certain topics and co-exist, if there is ever a day where we have a conversation we can have that talk in private and hopefully move on."

The offending incident seems to come from September 2022, with Pokimane pulling up a Dexerto article and a quote where he said, "No s**t. That’s what Poki does. Poki is one of the most corrupt figures on Twitch."

The real stinger here is that Pokimane didn't respond. She was playing VALORANT at the time, so it's hard to say if she saw and ignored it, or just didn't spot the message. Either way, Trainwrecks has been thoroughly pied off. There's nothing like a good bit of drama to get viewers excited.

Back in the day, it was Felix "xQc" Lengyel versus Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa, but now, it could be Pokimane vs Trainwrecks in the battle of the streamers.
