Tyler "Ninja" Blevins just fooled us all by teasing his fans that he was potentially set to become the newest member of 100 Thieves

Ninja certainly knows how to ruffle some feathers in the streaming industry. As one of the most famous streamers in the world, the cobalt-haired Fortnite enthusiast isn't afraid to have some fun with his fans and the media. For example, he kept us all teetering on the edge of our seats as he teased whether he was moving to YouTube from Microsoft's Mixer.

Now, Ninja has done it again, as, after a number of cryptic tweets, his excited fans were left to question whether he was joining the esports organisation, 100 Thieves, as one of its main players. Well, technically he did 'join' 100 Thieves, but maybe not in the way you might think.

Why Did Fans Think Ninja Was Joining 100 Thieves?

On February 9, Ninja teased his fans with a cryptic tweet with a quick clip of him behind-the-scenes of Jack "CouRage" Dunlop's and Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag's podcast. As well as captioning the clip with, "am I joining 100 Thieves?", Ninja stated that we would all have to wait another 24 hours to know for sure.

The tweet quickly ramped up the hype for fans as they questioned what this news could mean for Ninja. One particularly inquisitive fan asked: "Are you joining as a creator? Or something?"

Some also had some fun with it by questioning whether the 30-year-old was getting a new manager after it was reported his wife, Jennifer Blevins, had plans to eventually step down from the role.

Imane "Pokimane" Anys fans also took the opportunity to take a jab at the beef surrounding her and Ninja, especially given how he has been silent about the issue. For example, one fan quickly responded to Ninja's tweet by saying, "have you or your wife apologized to Pokimane yet?" Some even denied that Ninja could ever join 100 Thieves, given how one of its co-owners, Rachel "Valkyrae" Hofstetter, is a close friend of Pokimane.

Did Ninja Join 100 Thieves?

Well, technically Ninja did "join" 100 Thieves, but not in the way fans were hoping for. What Ninja actually did was feature in 'The CouRage and Nadeshot Show'. As both CouRage and Nadeshot are co-owners, Ninja took the opportunity to tease his fans with the idea that he was the "newest member" of the team.

Ninja shared his experience filming with CouRage and Nadeshot at the 100 Thieves compound in a YouTube video, which left viewers with even more questions than answers.

As the video drew to a close, Ninja didn't 100% confirm or deny whether he was in fact joining 100 Thieves. However, he did finish the clip by saying "guys we are done here at the 100 Thieves compound. I had an absolute blast filming the show."

As of writing, there has been no conclusive word from Ninja or 100 Thieves as to whether he has officially joined the group in any way. Then again, fans can't imagine that Valkyrae would be best pleased about the rumoured new addition.
