While some experienced players might remember them fondly from past games, you are certainly not alone if you're wanting to find out all of the village map locations in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Hyrule has a lot of the same landmarks across the various Zelda titles in the series, but their spots in the most recent game might still be tricky to find for many.

In an act to encourage player discovery, the villages in TOTK are not marked on your map until you set foot inside them, so you might still be in a deep search for Kakariko Village or Hateno Village even after you've revealed their region through a Skyview Tower.

Thankfully we've got all of the village map locations in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom waiting in this guide for you, so all you need to do is continue reading to see the full list below.

If you're looking for a more detailed explanation of how to find the villages in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom though, we've got you covered in the rest of this guide below.

Exact location of all Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom villages

Kakariko Village

Kakariko Village in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be found to the south of the Lanayru Wetlands, on the border between the Necluda and Lanyaru regions.

It is one of the most prominent villages that you will visit, holding the ancient Sheikah research and a bunch of mysterious new Ring Ruins. You will definitely want to make the trip over there as soon as possible.

Hateno Village

The Hateno Village map location in TOTK is found on the far eastern side of the map, just south of Mount Lanayru and southeast of Kakariko Village. It is on the fringes of the Necluda region, and it might be a while before you make your way over there if you're staying roughly to the centre of Hyrule.

It was previously the home of Purah before she made her way to Lookout Landing, and is the place to be if you were wondering how to dye clothes in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Gerudo Town

Gerudo Town is located in the southwest of the map, all of the way out into the Gerudo Desert. You will have to be very intentional if you're making your way over there, as there is little else in the surrounding plains and the desert might cause you some troubles as you make the journey.

You will also need a disguise of some sorts before making your way into the town, as the Gerudo tribe do not allow voe (men) to enter their domain. It is well worth it if you do manage to make it in though, as there is plenty to see and buy.

Goron City

If you're looking for the Goron City map location in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, check out the screenshot above, showing the home of the Gorons situated between Death Mountain and the Great Hyrule Forest.

You will have to come with some heat protection though, as the village's close vicinity to a volcano has made things pretty toasty. There will thankfully be some gear to help you out with the heat once you get there though, so at least you can rest in comfort at your journey's end.

Lookout Landing

Lookout Landing is found just south of Hyrule Castle on the TOTK map, and is almost guaranteed to be the first village that you visit within the game. It is found right at the heart of Central Hyrule, and is home to a handful of the game's key characters.

The obvious one here is Purah, who is the head of the investigation into Zelda's disappearance, but you can also find Robbie, and even the Horned Statue if you're looking to respec your Hearts or Stamina.

Lurelin Village

The map location for Lurelin Village is found in the south west of East Necluda, just before the curved horn-like shape that curls into the sea. This is the perfect location for anyone looking to take Link on a tropical holiday, as the beaches here will give you plenty of sun.

However, you might want to watch out for the abundance of enemies that have taken over the village surroundings, with dangerous pirate Bokoblins rampant around the ara. As long as you take care and steer clear of the foes you should be fine to enjoy your time in Lurelin though.

Rito Village

Rito Village is found in the northwest of the Hyrule map in TOTK, and is home to the best airborne archers in the land. It is specifically within the Hebra region of the map, just southwest of the Tabantha Tundra and Hebra Mountains that you will eventually have to scale.

You might be wondering how to cross the bridge to Rito Village in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom though, but thankfully we've got a guide to help you out in that regard. The reward of the best village theme in the game is waiting for you once you get there though, so it is well worth the effort.

Tarrey Town

Tarrey Town is found in the northeast of Hyrule, with its map location sitting northeast of Zora's Domain and southwest of Death Mountain. If you've got the Akkala region revealed on your map, it is just to the west of the spiral island on the eastern side of the map.

If you played Breath of the Wild then you will recognise this as the town that you helped build, but the Hudson Company has grown quite significantly - shown exceptionally by the sheer number of Addison signs throughout Hyrule.

Zora's Domain

The final village map location in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is Zora's Domain, and this can be found to the east of the Lanayru Wetlands, and just slightly north of the Lanayru Great Spring.

It is the home of the Zora clan, and is perhaps one of the most spectacular architectural displays in the whole of Hyrule - even if it has fallen into disarray due to the Upheaval.

So, that rounds off this list of all village map locations in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, showing you where to find Kakariko Village, Hateno Village, and plenty more in the game.
