What is Fuse Recycling in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

Fuse Recycling in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is an ability that allows items that are fused to weapons to be used multiple times, rather than just once. With the new Fuse Rune Ability being one of the most frequently used, this is an incredibly handy passive ability.

It is particularly potent when it comes to items that burst, such as Dazzlefruits, Splash Fruits and Puffshrooms. While ordinarily these items would be destroyed after a single hit on an enemy, Fuse Recycling changes that and allows the item to be restored.

However, there are only a handful of weapons that can use this ability in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You can find out which ones they are below.

  • Want to fuse some Bomb Flowers? Be sure to check our Bomb Flower farming guide in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The only weapons that can use Fuse Recycling in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are the Forest Dweller’s Sword and the Forest Dweller’s Spear.

Both of these weapons have the ability, but to get them, you’re going to have to complete the Walton’s Treasure Hunt side quest in the Great Hyrule Forest.

But, to make things a little bit easier, we’ve listed the coordinates here so you can grab them sooner rather than later.
