With the sheer number of iconic games within the series, it is no surprise to anyone that there are plenty of legacy armour sets in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to collect. While Link has a fresh look in the latest Zelda game, there are still plenty of opportunities to call back to your other favorite titles in the long-running series.

However, these pieces of armour are well hidden within the game, so you might be lost when searching for them throughout Hyrule. Thankfully we've got all of the map locations for you below, so make sure to carry on reading this guide to learn how to find all Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom legacy armour sets, including Wind Waker, Majora's Mask, and more.

In order to get the Dark Link armor set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you must activate four Bargainer Statues in the Depths of Hyrule. Here is the order in which the set will unlock, alongside the cost in Poes:

Armour Item Poe Cost
Dark Tunic 150
Dark Trousers 200
Dark Hood 300

You can find the Bargainer Statues in any order that you like, but here are the map coordinates and their general location within The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom:

Location Coordinates
Southeast of Lookout Landing 0460, -0801, -0474
Near Naydra Snowfield 3851, -1331, -0858
Near Lake Hylia 0882, -2400, -0393
South Akkala 3703, 2585, -0421
West of Great Hyrule Forest -0143, 2655, -0277
South of Lookout Landing -0648, -1774, -0518

The Dark Link armor set is not tied to one specific Zelda game, having appeared in at least four mainline titles across the years. However, that does not reduce how great it looks, so make sure to get searching so you can have the whole set.

Wind Waker Armor

The Tunic of the Wind, otherwise known as the Wind Waker armour set in TOTK can be found within a chest at the Cuho Canyon Mine in the Depths. This is at the map coordinates -3788, 1344, -0682, and it is roughly underneath Cuho Mountain in the Hebra region of Hyrule.

Ocarina of Time armor

The Tunic of Time is the Tears of the Kingdom representation for Ocarina of Time, allowing you to take yourself back to 1998 with a chest in the Lindor Canyon Mine. This is found at the map coordinates -1999, 1307, -0715 and is roughly in the Depths below the Lindor Skyview Tower.

Breath of the Wild armor

The Champion's Leathers - which you might recognise as the tunic from Breath of the Wild - can be found inside Hyrule Castle in a chest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The easiest way to get there is to take the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower, and then use that to soar to the front entrance of the floating Hyrule Castle. You will need at least a double Stamina upgrade in order to reach here, so you won't be able to do it right at the start.

Then, head inside the castle and set the two fire pits by the eagle statue alight using any method. Once they are ablaze, the statue behind them should move, revealing a chest underneath which holds the Champion's Leathers.

The map coordinates for this particular chest are as follows: -0255, 1091, 0350.

All of the legacy armor sets outside of the Dark Link set will be available through Amiibo scanning too, but there is obviously the chance that you won't get it as it is luck-based. Once you have found each item as well you will be able to purchase it from any of the Bargainer Shrines, just in case you accidentally sell it or lose it some other way.

So, that's all of the legacy armour map locations that we know of so far in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but we will make sure to update this guide when we find more in the game.
