Mired in Muck is a side quest found in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

A Zora named Bazz is trapped in some muck and needs your help to free him. Seeing as Link can’t carry water to him, it’s a tricky puzzle that’s got more than a few people, just like Bazz, feeling stuck.

You can find this quest near the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower, specifically at coordinates 2844, 0584, 0375.

Two solutions exist to solve the Mired in Muck quest and free Bazz.

Option one is to pick some of the Splash Fruit from a tree close to the left of Bazz and use them to rinse the muck off Bazz.

We fused a Splash Fruit with an arrow and fired it towards him, which worked well enough. However, if you don’t want to waste your hard-earned arrows, you can also fuse one with a weapon, or simply chuck them at him like water balloons.

If you want to save the Splash Fruits for later, you can also use a Hydrant Zonai Device. For this to work, you’ll need to have one in your inventory. Aim the Hydrant towards the muck and give it a whack to rinse the muck off Bazz. It’s best to save these Hydrants for building wild contraptions and for cooling off lava into walkable stone pathways, but it’s a good solution if you’ve got Hydrants to spare.

Once Bazz is free, make sure to talk to him to receive your reward. Bazz will give you a Zora Spear that increases in power when it’s wet. Make sure you have an empty weapon slot in your inventory - the quest won’t be marked as complete until you accept the reward!

Now, you need to apply the same idea to get into the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower.
