The sound of a drum in TOTK can be found in the form of a drum player to the south of Kakariko Village, at the map coordinates 2165, -1382, 0109. He can be found standing inside a tent on a river bank, and shouldn't be too hard to miss if you're gliding past.

When speaking to him, he will ask you to collect three globs of courser bee honey, which you will need to do in order to progress the quest.

Courser bee honey can be found near the chasm next to East Hill, which is just northwest of Kakariko Village. It hangs from trees and is shaped like a large honeycomb, so shouldn't be too hard to miss.

You might have to deal with the bees that surround their honey, but a few hits with any weapon should dispel them away, leaving you free to claim your three courser bee honey items.

Once you have collected all three pieces of honey, make sure to return to Beetz the drum player and hand them over. He will whip up a honey crepe for his bandmates, and then head over to the Duelling Peaks stable at the map coordinates 1765, -2171, 0013.

However, to progress this quest further and ensure that Beetz spawns at the Duelling Peaks stable, you must ensure that you have completed the first Great Fairy Fountain quest at the Woodland Stable, as that is required to make the band move to Duelling Peaks.

Once you've made your way to the Duelling Peaks stable, you will want to speak to Mastro the band leader at the bandstand, and he will lead the troupe to the water bank before the Great Fairy Fountain.

However, you will need to find them a way across, as the bridge has been destroyed. To do this, you will want to create a raft using the wooden building materials to the west of the troupe - making sure that you pick up all of the Zonai devices nearby too.

For our contraption, we combined two of the larger rectangular wooden boards as a base, a smaller rectangular one at the back, where we also placed two fans and a battery, and then the controller and a sail at the front. Then, place the troupe's carriage on this makeshift boat too, and speak to Mastro to get them to sit on it.

All you need to do then is use the boat to sail over to the Great Fairy Fountain, and a cutscene should start when you reach the shore, revealing the fairy which lets you upgrade your armor to level two.

You will also get 100 rupees as a reward for completing the Serenade to Cotera quest, which will come in handy if you're planning a couple of armor enhancements from the Great Fairy.

So, that's where to find the sound of the drum and get the drum player to the Great Fairy Fountain in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, showing you all of the map locations and every step of the quest you'll need to complete.
