What are Chasms in Tears of the Kingdom?
In Tears of the Kingdom, Chasms are large crevices on the surface which allow you to enter the Depths region located below ground.
Chasms are noticeable by the red liquid spilling out of them called Gloom, which is also clearly shown on the map, allowing you to easily identify entrances to the Depths.
If you want to use a Chasm to enter the Depths in TotK, do the following
- Drop down into the Chasm
- Accelerate downwards until you see the floor
- Use your glider before you hit the ground
Down in the Depths, you can freely explore a massive region that mirrors the size of the surface world directly above.
