How to find the Vipers in Resident Evil 4 Remake
Vipers are back in Resident Evil 4 Remake, and this time around, they serve an additional use. Apart from using Vipers to restore your HP or selling them to the Merchant NPC for Ptas, there is a particular side quest called Viper Hunter in Resident Evil 4 Remake which tasks you to find, kill, collect, and sell Vipers to obtain Spinel. This can then be used to get special items.

Where are the Vipers in Resident Evil 4 Remake?
The primary way of finding and obtaining Vipers in Resident Evil 4 Remake is by breaking particular wooden boxes. You will find the first wooden box with a Viper on the Wooden Shelf inside the Town Hall building in the Village Square.

The second wooden box with Viper is found inside the wooden box located in the small hut you come across while heading towards the Quarry via the Church. For reference, you can use the below map screenshot:

How to complete Viper Hunter side quest in Resident Evil 4 Remake

To complete the Viper Hunter side quest in Resident Evil 4 Remake, players must kill and collect three Vipers and sell them to the Merchant NPC. Doing so will complete the quest and reward players with four Spinel.

Moreover, players will also receive Ptas for selling those three Vipers. So, it's a win-win situation. The best part about the Viper Hunter quest is that you obtain it from the Blue Request Note near the Merchant outside the Town Hall building.
