Resident Evil 4 Lunker Bass Location: Where to find for Catch Me A Big Fish Quest

To complete the "Catch Me A Big Fish" side quest in Resident Evil 4 Remake, you must know where to find Lunker bass, a gigantic fish found in the Lake where the Resident Evil 4 Remake Del Lago boss fight takes place.

While the quest objective sounds like one of the game's easier ones, the continuous rain, the dark night, the not-so-clear water in the Lake, and an extensive search area may make finding the Lunker Bass a challenge you may need help to overcome.

Here is where to find Lunker Bass in Resident Evil 4 Remake and how you can get and complete the "Catch Me A Big Fish" side quest.

Where to find Lunker Bass in Resident Evil 4 Remake

In Resident Evil 4 Remake, you can find the gigantic fish, Lunker Bass, near the Boathouse in the southern part of the Lake. Once you get the side quest, "Catch Me A Big Fish," from the Lakeside Settlement area, make your way to the Boathouse.

Once you are near it, you will find the Lunker Bass fins popping out from the water on the left side of the Boathouse. Use the harpoon to kill the Lunker Bass and collect it by pressing the 'X' button on PlayStation, 'A' on Xbox, and 'Enter' on PC.

After that, you must visit the Merchant and sell the Lunker Bass. Once that is done, you will complete the "Catch Me A Big Fish" side quest which rewards you with four Spinel and the additional Ptas you can get for selling the Lunker Bass.

How to get and complete Catch Me A Big Fish side quest in Resident Evil 4 Remake

To get the "Catch Me A Big Fish" side quest in Resident Evil 4 Remake, you must progress the game until the end of Chapter 3, concluding with Leon defeating the Del Lago, aka Lake Monster, and, mainly referred to as the Crocodile boss.

Once you do that, you will find yourself in the Boathouse. Instead of progressing further into the game's story, take the boat and go to the Lakeside Settlement.

Make your way to the player icon location as shown in the below map screenshot, and you will find the Blue Request Note for the "Catch Me A Big Fish" side quest hanging from the wall.

Once you take on the quest, you can find the Lunker Bass at the location that we talked about earlier. After that, you can take the boat and head towards the northwest part of Mural Cave. There, you will find the Merchant NPC. 

Interact with him and select the "Sell" option. Once done, navigate to the Lunker Bass, use the d-pad or arrow keys to select the Lunker bass, and then hold the action button to sell. Doing so will complete the "Catch Me A Big Fish" side quest.
