All Rhinoceros Beetles locations in the Resident Evil 4 Remake

Rhinoceros Beetles are extremely rare insects, only a couple of which are in the Resident Evil 4 Remake. You can consume the creatures to recover a small amount of health or sell them to the Merchant for 10,000 pesetas, which is much more helpful.
This is a substantial amount as one of them is found in an earlier chapter where 10,000 is roughly the cost of one weapon upgrade.

As of writing, there are only two Rhinoceros Beetles known to be in the game, the first of which is located on one of the Lakeside embankments, accessible during chapter four of the main story.
The small creature can be difficult to see due to the weather effects and its natural camouflage against the brown of the tree it is placed on. Head towards the location indicated on the map above, to the northwest Lakeside Settlement.
Naturally, you will need access to the boat to get there, meaning you'll need to get the boat fuel from the shack at the Fish Farm and defeat the following boss.
Once you get to the rundown Lakeside Settlement, head up the dock steps and turn left to the ruined houses. Keep following the path as it continues through both ruined houses and towards a broken boat.
The beetle is on a tree to the right of the ruined boat, indicated at the location on the map above.

Resident Evil 4 Remake: Rhinoceros Beetle Two

The second Beetle is located within Salazar Castle from chapter eight onwards of the main story. The beetle is located by the fishpond, outside of the Merchant's stall near the main Courtyard.
Travel to the Merchant's stall, as indicated on the map above, and walk to the fishpond outside.
Click to enlargeThe beetle almost completely blends into the stonework here, so you'll need to get right in front of it before you receive the prompt to pick it up. If you walk from the pathway into the pond, the beetle should be located on the back wall, to the left of the back wall seam (northwest inside the fishpond).
