Weather Week is finally here in Pokemon GO, and it involves all kinds of weather-themed Pokemon and bonuses to enjoy.

If you're curious to know what awaits you in the event for the game, from all the wild spawns as well as the date the event starts and ends, read on for everything you'll need to know to get you prepared.

Weather Week date & bonuses in Pokemon GO

The Weather Week event will run from Thursday, March 14th to Monday, March 18th, 2024.

It will also have a variety of bonuses for players to enjoy, including:

  • Extra Stardust for catching Pokemon with Weather Boost
  • 2x Stardust for catching Pokemon
  • Increased chance to find a Shiny Castform

These bonuses will persist for the entirety of the event, so make the most of it if you need extra Stardust (or you're missing a Shiny Castform!)

Wild spawns for Weather Week

Here's a list of the Pokemon that are more likely to show up during this event, as well as the weather conditions they'll show up in.

The following Pokemon appear more frequently, regardless of weather conditions:

  • Paras
  • Drifloon
  • Helioptile
  • Amaura
  • Lickitung

These Pokemon appear more frequently depending on whether a certain weather condition is active.

  • Cacnea (Sunny)
  • Lotad (Rainy)
  • Snover (Snow)
  • Roggenrola (Partly Cloudy)
  • Spritzee (Cloudy)
  • Swablu (Windy)
  • Gastly (Fog)

Weather Week raids

The following Pokemon will appear in raids during this event - and you can even encounter Shiny versions if you're lucky:

Field Research & Collection Challenges

The following 'mon will be available to obtain via Field Research tasks during Weather Week, regardless of weather conditions:

  • Paras
  • Castform (Normal)
  • Castform (Sunny)
  • Castform (Rainy)
  • Castform (Snowy)
  • Drifloon
  • Helioptile
  • Amaura

What's more, Weather Week-themed Collection Challenges are coming, and they involve catching all the Castforms as well as Drifloon, Paras, Amaura and Helioptile.

As per usual, themed PokeStop showcases will also be taking place where you can enter event-themed Pokemon.
