To get the Lost Ark Token of Protection, you will need to finish a Roster quest called I Must Protect, but there are some criteria you'll need to reach first. To start with, you need to finish all the main content in the new continent of South Vern, which just consists of the main questline.

Afterwards, you will need to go to Vern Castle in North Vern and speak to the Magick Scholar Jeneca. They will give you the quest called I Must Protect which will task you with speaking to a character in Vern called Professor Farhat. After talking to them, you'll get two Tokens of Protection for free, and then you are free to take part in the Chaos Line dungeon.

Essentially, the Token of Protection is an entry ticket that players can use to gain access to the Lost Ark Chaos Line. This is a brand-new Chaos Dungeon that can be accessed in South Vern and gives players a chance to earn Bloodmagick Stones along with other gear and important resources.

You can only earn two of these a week as that is the max amount of times you can play through the Chaos Line before the weekly reset.
