Genshin Impact Talent Books: Talent Upgrade Material Guide
Genshin Impact Talent Books are a resource that you can use to upgrade your character’s Talent abilities. Talent abilities usually centre around one element type, and different characters will require different Talent Books (sometimes called Talent upgrade materials) to level up their abilities. Genshin Impact Talent Books: How Many Do You Need?
This is widely dependent on the character you are focused on. There are nine types of Talent Books each with three tiers of XP. Each Talent Book comes in a bronze, silver, or gold rarity that increases XP granted. The bronze books are called Teachings, silver are Guides, and gold are Philosophies, and can be used once the player has achieved Adventurer Rank 25. You can combine three of each type of book at an Alchemy Table to make one book of an increased rarity. For example, three Teachings can make one Guide, and three Guides can make one Philosophy at an Alchemy Table.

Talent Books are rewarded to players for completing domain challenges. Different types of Talent Books will be available depending on which domain and day of the week it is. Talent Books can also be found through chests throughout Teyvat, or as quest rewards, but domain farming is the most effective way of gaining multiple Talent Books for levelling up a character’s Talent fast.
