In Genshin Impact, the Golden Apple Archipelago is a very special region where players can get their hands on great rewards. Genshin Impact has many events during the year that invites players to explore new regions and go through small chains of quests. Genshin Impact Golden Apple Archipelago: What Is It
Click to enlargeThe Golden Apple Archipelago is a region in Genshin Impact that appeared in the game for the first time in patch 1.8, and now it comes back in patch 2.8. The place is related to the Summertime Odyssey, an event in which players follow Mona, Kazuha, Fischl, and Xinyan to some islands where small segments of story quests take the player through mysterious places to tell a little bit of each character’s story.
By starting the event, the following activities will become available to complete in the region:
- Surfpiercer: mini-games in which you go through a small circuit using a boat and complete it in a specific time.
- Phantom Realms: there are a total of four of these (Misty Hills, Foggy Vales; The Island’s Stirring Strings; Immernachtreich Keep; and Temple of the Star Latitudes) that once completed each will give you access to a series of arenas.
- Resonating Vision: by finding Genshin Impact Phantasmal Conch spread in the islands, you can acquire specific rewards.
- Reminiscent Regimen:a series of co-op challenges.
There is a lot more to be done in the region, considering camps of enemies to be defeated, and puzzles to be solved, like the Genshin Impact Golden Apple Archipelago Rock Puzzle. Since the region is available until the end of patch 2.8, there is a lot of time to enjoy every aspect of the Golden Apple Archipelago.
Genshin Impact Golden Apple Archipelago: How To Unlock It
Click to enlargeThe Golden Apple Archipelago is automatically unlocked with the Summertime Odyssey event. This event began on July 15 of 2022 and will last until the next patch. During this period, the archipelago is going to be open in case you meet the following prerequisites: besides having at least Adventure Rank 32, players must also have completed the Archon Quest “Chapter II: Prologue - Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves”, and Mona’s Story Quest.
Once you are ready, you can start going after the first quest using the Events Overview menu.
Genshin Impact Golden Apple Archipelago: What Are The Rewards
Click to enlargeExploring the Golden Apple Archipelago and completing the activities will give you amazing rewards. Beside all the Primogems, Mora, Hero’s Wit, and Mystic Enhancement Ores that you can get from chests, puzzles, and challenges, going through the arenas unlocked by each Phantom Realm will give you Iridescent Flotsam. This is a special currency that can be exchanged for items used to upgrade characters, talents, and so on in the Event Shop.
During the time of the event, if you earn a total of 2400 Iridescent Flotsam, you can earn Fischl for your collection of characters in case you still don’t have her! There is also the Ein Immernachtstraum Outfit for her that you can earn after collecting 16 Phantasmal Conches.
