Genshin Impact Fabulous Fungus Frenzy Event: How To Join, Rewards
Genshin Impact is releasing a new event themed around the Dendro Sumeru region named the Fabulous Fungus Frenzy Event. The Genshin Impact event is a Pokémon-style capture tournament where you'll be trapping Fungus enemies to have them face off against opponents for a chance at winning top prizes. The event will be running from November 10 to November 28 so join and earn rewards whilst you can! For information on how to join and the prerequisites for the event, read on.

Genshin Impact Fabulous Fungus Frenzy Event Prerequisites
To join the new fungus event, players must be Adventurer Rank 30 or above and must have completed the archon quest 'Chapter I: Act III "A New Star Approaches'.
HoYoverse also recommends players have completed the Archon Quest Chapter III: Act V "Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises" and Yae Miko's Story Quest "Divina Vulpes Chapter: Act I - The Great Narukami Offering" to get the most from the event, although this is not mandatory, and players can opt to join through the 'Quick Start' feature on the event page.

As with all Genshin Impact events, you can join (if you meet the prerequisites) by navigating to the event page whilst in-game.
The event will have five phases which will release one by one throughout the event. A new event shop will also be open until December 5 for players to cash in the currency earned through the stages of the event, these being Mushroom Currency and "Fungus Medal, which can be exchanged for a collection of rewards including Talent Upgrade materials and Ascension materials.
The Fabulous Fungus Frenzy Event will be a tournament-style event containing the following challenges for players:
- Fungus Capture
- Coruscating Potential
- Special Training
- The Nilotpala Cup tournament
During the Fungus Capture segment of the tournament, players will use the 'Wisdom Orb' gadget to capture Fungi enemies. Once you have a Fungus captured, you will be given the option to name your champion.
The Coruscating Potential section of the event involves mixing different coloured jellies in a match puzzle game. You must organise the colours to match a pre-set picture in a certain amount of moves by rotating the jellies across a grid.
Special Training is the chance for players to command their captured Fungi to face off against opponents and defeat them as practice for the upcoming tournament. Different elements of Fungi have different attack types, so use these to your advantage when facing opponents.
Lastly, you can enter your Fungi into the Nilotpala Cup, a special tournament in which Beast Tamers compete against each other for a chance to win the championship. Win each round to advance to the finals.

Event rewards include Primogems, Mora, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Hero's Wit, Wisdom Orb, Crown of Insight, Character Level-Up Materials, and Talent Level-Up Materials. Along with this, players will get the furniture piece, the Nilotpala Cup Tournament Stage and will gain access to the special merchant and Electro character Dori upon completion of the optional quest 'The Strongest Opponent! The Biggest Crisis!'.
