Genshin Impact 3.1 Update: King Deshret And The Three Magi
The Genshin Impact 3.1 update has been revealed along with a teaser trailer and the first look at new character banners. Named Genshin Impact King Deshret and the Three Magi, the update will feature a Sumeru-based story set against the backdrop of hidden ruins, ancient secrets, and a mysterious king 'who once commanded the sand'. As seen from the trailer, the new update is bringing a desert map and story to explore, with further details on the mysterious Fatui Harbingers Dottore and Scaramouche (as seen inside the mech suit towards the end of the trailer).
The trailer also explores the Eremites group, a clan who are fixated on restoring the 'Scarlet King' and the Aeonblight Drake, a new boss for the area.

Genshin Impact 3.1 Update: New Characters and Event Wishes

Throughout the 3.1 update, players will receive the chance to gain three new characters: Candace, Cyno and Nilou.
Candace is a four-star character with proficiency in Hydro, polearms and uses a triangular shield as part of her special ability attack. Cyno has a five-star rarity with proficiency in polearms and Electro. Nilou is a five-star Hydro character with added proficiency in swords.

Genshin Impact 3.1 Update: New Events

To celebrate the new update alongside the approaching second anniversary of the game, HoYoverse has also announced a new event named 'Of Ballad and Brews' which will feature several mini-games.
The event centres around a festival named Weinlesefest due to take place in Mondstadt. The Adventurer's Guild has called upon the Traveler for help during the festivities.
Another event named the 'Hyakunin Ikki' was also featured and described as a tournament due to take place in Inazuma City. A 'free for all tournament that mortals and monsters alike can take part in' in return for generous rewards.
Lastly, is the 'Star Seeker's Sojourn' quest and the 'Wind Chaser' domain challenge, which were also featured with the 3.1 update events.

The King Deshret and the Three Magi update is set to release on September 28th globally.
