The Decidueye Tera Raid date and time are from Friday, 17 March 2023 at 00:00 UTC until Sunday, 19 March 2023 at 23:59 UTC. For those who miss the Decidueye Scarlet Violet debut, you can catch the raid again a week later from Friday, 24 March 0:00 UTC to Sunday, 26 March at 23:59 UTC.

Locations & type

Announced on the official Pokemon blog and the Japanese Pokemon Twitter, the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Decidueye Tera Raid will have a Flying Tera Type. Even though we don't know what moveset Decidueye will have at the time of writing, this Tera Type along with its dual Grass and Ghost dual typing almost definitely means it will feature a combination of at least all three.

In order to find the raid, the Decidueye Tera Raid location can easily be found on the map by looking out for the glowing black raid marker with a Flying-type symbol. Alternatively, if you have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, you will be able to join another player's Decidueye Tera Raid through the Poke Portal.

That's all you need to know on when and where to find the Decidueye Tera Raid in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. For more of what's new in the game, find out how to find and counter the Iron Leaves Tera Raid. Alternatively, find out how to send a Pokemon GO postcard to Scarlet and Violet
