Tepig is now available to encounter in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC, but you'll need to donate a hefty chunk of BP for the privilege of catching this little fire pig.

All of the starters from previous generations have returned in The Indigo Disk expansion, which means you can get their evolutions too! If it's Tepig, Pignite, and Emboar that you're looking for, we've got their locations right here.

Where to find Tepig in The Indigo Disk

Tepig spawns all over the southeastern area of the Canyon Biome, but before it will spawn, you'll need to donate 3,000 BP to the Terarium Club so they can increase the kinds of Pokemon that will appear here.

You can donate to the Terarium Club using the PC in the League Club Room. If you're struggling to save up enough BP to expand this Biome, check out our guide for farming BP as that should help you get there faster.

Once you've contributed to the Terarium Club, head to the Canyon Biome and search around the southeastern section. I found Tepig to be one of the easiest starter Pokemon to find (unlike Mudkip and Froakie).

How to evolve Tepig into Pignite and Emboar

Tepig will evolve into Pignite as soon as it hits Level 17. It will then evolve into Emboar when it reaches Level 36. There are no special evolution items needed.

If you've caught a Tepig in The Indigo Disk, it will most likely be well above both of these levels. Simply raise your Tepig by a single level and it will evolve straight away, then do the same for Pignite.

That's everything you need to know about Pignite! Visit our Pokemon Scarlet & Violet homepage for more Indigo Disk guides like the latest Mystery Gift codes, all the new TMs you can craft, and unlocking the ability to fly.
