Blueberry Points - or BP as they're more commonly known - are an important currency in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC, so here's the best method for farming them.

The Blueberry Academy's Terarium is bustling with familiar Pokemon to encounter, but you won't be able to find them all from the get-go. To unlock starters from previous generations, you're going to need to save up a hefty chunk of BP to donate to the Terarium Club.

If you're finding it a little tedious taking photos or auto-battling Pokemon over and over just to earn a measly 30 BP, it's time to level up your Blueberry Points farming method in The Indigo Disk expansion.

How to farm BP in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

The best way to speed up your BP farming in The Indigo Disk is to join other Trainers in the Union Circle and complete Blueberry Quests together. You can do this from the central plaza in the Terarium.

Not only will you share progress when completing Blueberry Quests, but you'll also share the rewards. I was able to save up the 3,000 BP required to upgrade a single Biome in just 20 minutes - compared to about two hours when doing it solo.

And that's not all: When completing Blueberry Quests with other Trainers, you'll also get special group-only quests like finding hidden Ditto Blocks. These can take a while to complete, but it's worth the time and effort as the BP payouts are much bigger than usual.

If you don't have any friends to complete Blueberry Quests with, try finding a matchmaking service online and sharing a Link Code with them. I used the Scarlet & Violet subreddit's BBQ Chat Hub and was able to match up with a group of Trainers in just a few seconds.

What can you spend BP on?

The best way to spend your Blueberry Points in The Indigo Disk is to donate them to the Terarium Club. You'll need 3,000 BP for each Biome, but it's worth the expense as each donation will enable you to encounter a set of starters from previous generations like Sobble, Mudkip, and Froakie.

You can make these donations at the PC in the League Club Room, which also lets you make donations to other clubs for extra rewards. For example, donating to the Photography Club unlocks new camera features while donating to the Baseball Club unlocks new throwing styles.

Another place to spend your BP is the School Store, which sells loads of powerful TMs like Hydro Pump and Earthquake as well as evolution items including the Metal Alloy, the Magmarizer, and the Electirizer. You can even purchase Rare Candies here!

The final use for your BP is to get access to the Elite Trials before defeating each member of the Blueberry Academy's Elite Four. This is required to finish the DLC's story, but each Elite Trial only costs 50 BP so it won't take you long to save up enough to complete them all.

That's everything you need to know about BP! Visit our Pokemon Scarlet & Violet homepage for more guides like all the new Pokemon you can catch in the Indigo Disk and the latest Mystery Gift codes
