Dead by Daylight is an incredibly popular online multiplayer game, and an asymmetrical one at that, so having a good number of active players or a high player count is a key part of the fun.

The game has been going since 2016 and is available on multiple platforms, so the potential fanbase is quite large.

PC Player Count

According to SteamDB - a website that tracks active player numbers on PC's Steam platform - Dead by Daylight averages around 40,000 peak concurrent players every single day.

Its all-time peak player count on Steam at the moment is 105,093 - and this was achieved on the game's fifth anniversary in 2021.

Bear in mind that these are just the numbers for PC players - and it is likely that both console player counts and numbers on non-Steam PC platforms will be equal, if not higher.

On what platforms can you play Dead by Daylight?

As mentioned above, Dead by Daylight is available on a wide variety of platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Series S and X.

Additionally, a separate mobile version of the game is available on Android and iOS. This version of the game is not exactly the same game, but it more or less takes the experience to mobile devices.
