The Dead by Daylight Devout emblem is an award that Killers can chase in each Trial. Dead by Daylight may be a horror game, but it is also a multiplayer game with stats and figures. Ranking up requires meeting certain requirements, namely by achieving certain emblem scores. Here is everything you need to know about the Dead by Daylight Devout emblem.

The Devout emblem is one for the Killers. Specifically, this emblem relates to hooking and killing Survivors. As the Devout name suggests, you need to sacrifice players in order to get points toward this emblem. As a Killer, your goal is to sacrifice the entire team of Survivors, so making progress toward this emblem should come naturally.

The thresholds for points are one for bronze, four for silver, eight for gold, and ten for iridescent. You can get two points for a kill, two points for a sacrifice, and two points if a Survivor disconnects from the game. There is a bonus point for hooking all Survivors at least once, and another bonus point for hooking Survivors a total of nine times. Crucially, there are no points awarded if a player bleeds out, this emblem requires the Killer to sacrifice or kill outright.

This emblem is fairly straightforward, but getting the iridescent emblem requires perfect completion. Iridescent is awarded for attaining ten points. When there are two points awarded for killing each Survivor and there are only four Survivors, wiping out the enemy team will only get you eight points. That will get you the gold emblem and there is nothing wrong with that, but to get that iridescent you need to go one step further.

You need to get those two bonus points mentioned above. If you manage to sacrifice all players in a game, then naturally you will pick up the point for hooking all four Survivors at least once. The other point is a bit trickier, as it requires you to perform nine hook actions. This means, on average, every Survivor will need to be hooked at least twice, and then one more. This will be a lot of work, you will basically need to allow Survivors off of hooks to chase them down and hook them again. At the very least this discourages camping, and promotes playing the game fairly.

If you can manage to hook players nine times in one Trial, and sacrifice all of them by the end, you will win the match and net yourself the iridescent Devout emblem.

That is everything you need to do to complete the Dead by Daylight Devout emblem and get an iridescent completion. For more on the game, check out our Dead by Daylight Benevolent emblem guide.
