YouTuber Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson is regularly shown splashing the cash on his wild and ambitious content, so you may be wondering how much money does MrBeast have?

MrBeast may only be 23 years old, but he is already a YouTube veteran having started posting content on the Google-owned platform when he was 13. Since then, he has gone on to dominate YouTube with his ambitious (and expensive) content projects. So much so, that he is even set to knock the king, Felix "PewDiePie" Kjellberg, from his throne.

But, what is MrBeast's net worth? How is he able to create such ambitious content, and why was he named one of YouTube's highest-earning stars by Forbes?

What Is MrBeast's Net Worth?

As of 2021, MrBeast's net worth is estimated to be $8 million (thanks, Wealthy Gorilla).

With the amount of money that MrBeast spends on his bold stunts, it's hard to believe that he could be making any funds for himself. For example, he spent a whopping $3.5 million on recreating a real-life Squid Game. Then, in his most recent YouTube video, he dared his participants to swim with sharks for the chance to get $100k.

MrBeast is also the internet's most recognisable philanthropist side on numerous occasions, sharing his wealth with many worthy causes. For example, he shared out $2 million of his cash to help out up-and-coming YouTubers

How Does MrBeast Earn His Money?

As most emerging YouTubers do, MrBeast started at 13 on YouTube with Minecraft and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 playthroughs, he then moved on to more creative and outlandish content, such as watching paint dry and staying underwater for 24 hours. However, it was his 'I Counted Down To 100,000' video which helped catapult him to YouTube stardom.

MrBeast has a bunch of tricks up his sleeves to create exciting and original content that will pull in the views and the cash. For example, during a podcast with Spotify's Joe Rogan, MrBeast revealed that he and his team decided to dub his content in multiple languages from around the world.

Speaking about the idea, MrBeast explained: "Less than 10% of the world speaks English, so 90% of the world can't even enjoy your content. When I realised that, I was like wait a minute, 90% of the world can't watch this stuff!"

MrBeast Named As One Of The Highest-Paid YouTube Stars By Forbes

In January 2022, MrBeast was named by Forbes as the highest-paid YouTuber on the platform. According to the site, MrBeast earned an estimated $54 million in 2021, beating out the likes of Jake Paul and Mark "Markiplier" Fischbach. The magazine also reported that he had pulled in more than twice as much as 2020's No.1, Ryan Kaji.

Gaining approximately 100k new subscribers on YouTube each day, as of writing, it's clear that things are only going up and up for MrBeast. As his incredible and eccentric videos continue to pull in a whopping amount of views, what wild idea could the YouTuber possibly be cooking up next?

If you were wondering how much money does MrBeast have? Now you know, as he's one of the platform's highest earners by a margin.
