A Christmas tree made up of hundreds of Pokemon plushies has been displayed in London.

While the tree is beautiful to behold, there is something unsettling about the bodies of countless Pokemon being stacked up in the shape of a tree.

A Pokemon plush Christmas tree has popped-up in London

The Pokemon Company has set up a plush Pokemon Christmas tree in the North Atrium in Westfield London.

The display will be in place until 4 December, and is a great way for Pokemon fans to get into the holiday spirit.

Anyone visiting the display can enter a competition to win one of 12 giant Pikachu plush by sharing their photos of the display, or a Pokemon Center plush in a winter wonderland scene, on Instagram with #pokemoncenteruk and @PokemonNewsUK.

The exhibition is display-only and on this occasion is not accompanied by a Pokemon Center pop-up, however anyone looking to purchase some festive Pokemon goodies can do so on the Pokemon Center website.

Pokemon has gone all out this holiday season

This year, Pokemon fans have been spoiled for choice with the festive offerings ranging from the in-person tree display, Pokepost office pop-ups across the country

There are plenty of festive treats listed on the Pokemon Center website, with everything from Pokemon-themed Christmas jumpers to plushies to kitchenware available to purchase to add a fun twist to the holiday season.

As well as this, orders placed before 27 November which are priced over £50 will allow customers to receive a complementary Mime Jr. Resin Ornament.
