The Manchester rivalry is one of the most fierce derbies in modern-day football, with the red United side having taken some stick from the blue City fans in recent years after decades of being on top.

But while the gap widens on the football pitch between City and United, there may be a better playing ground where the two teams are more evenly matched.

Both Alejandro Garnacho and Erling Haaland have recently shared snippets of their respective EA FC 24 Ultimate Team squads, and jolly gosh they are two of the most ridiculous teams in the game.

Alejandro Garnacho goes wild on EA FC 24 Ultimate Team

Manchester United players are quite familiar with EA FC 24 this year, with the sidelined Jadon Sancho opting to play Ultimate Team instead of watching his teammates. But hot off scoring the soon-to-be-crowned goal of the year with a sublime overhead kick, Garncho has now shown off his Ultimate Team grind is just as active as others in the Red Devils camp.

Taking to an Instagram story, the 19-year-old United star revealed his stacked squad, primed with ten icons in the starting XI and a Red-Pick Evolution, only accessible by smashing out FUT Champs on the weekend.

Garnacho's squad included Red Evo Mbappe, Pele, R9, Zidane, Maldini, and Roberto Carlos, while you can also spy his idol Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench alongside Bellingham and POTM Salah.

Erling Haaland's Ultimate Team is as Haaland-like as you can imagine

Akin to the United camp, City's demonic striker Erling Haaland also has the EA FC 24 bug and has shown his equally brutal Ultimate Team squad on an Instagram story.

Taking full advantage of his recent injury spell out of the City team, Haaland has revealed he and his brother are the strikers in his own Ultimate Team, as both siblings were a part of the Dynasties promo.

That did mean R9 and Pele both had to be benched, although Ronaldinho, Gullit, Yaya Toure, and Roberto Carlos all lit up the Norwegian's starting XI.

The only thing for them to do now is to host a round-table tournament on Ultimate Team. They could even invite Liverpool star Diogo Jota, who is equally skilled at the game. Now that would be some prime content.
