With EA FC 24 getting rather settled, the meta having been discovered, different playstyles being unearthed, and the overpowered Ultimate Team cards being found, it's almost time for the best players in the world to start going head-to-head in the professional leagues.

The FC Pro qualifiers are just around the corner, and with it, moguls of EA FC 24 will strap on their boots and controllers to jockey it out to earn a spot at the World Championships.

And while he will be preparing to catapult Liverpool towards the top of the Premier League on-field, Diogo Jota now set to take on EA FC's brightest players by "giving everything" to be an esports star too.

Diogo Jota signs on for FC Pro

The versatile Liverpool forward can play more positions than just left wing, striker, and attacking midfield, as he's well-equipped on the warmth of a leather seat; no, not the Anfield bench, but instead a comfy gaming chair in front of an EA FC game.

Jota is among many footballers who love to get their teeth into footballing video games and has his own organisation named Luna Galaxy Esports. But unlike others such as Gareth Bale (Ellevens Esports), Jesse Lingard (JLingz Esports), and Casemiro (Case Esports), who all Founded esports teams, Jota can also compete at the highest level, and he will continue to do so this year.

Now, Jota has teamed with EA FC to advertise his entrance into the FC Pro qualifiers, where he will attend the Londo Open Global Qualifier.

The FC Pro Open Global Qualifier will take place on November 11-12 in London, with a total of 64 players on display from around the world (52 qualified players through online heats and 12 invited personalities).

Jota appears to be one of the 12 invited players to take a spot in the World Championships qualifiers, although its not known whether he will be making a cameo appearance or competing, given that Liverpool will be away in Toulouse on November 9, and playing at home on November 12.

For Diogo though, it's evident he wants to give it his all as a pro gamer alongside being a footballing icon, much akin to Rocket League and NFL dual-athlete Boston Scott.
