Midnight Society, the new AAA studio co-found by popular YouTuber Dr Disrespect, may have just "leaked" an exciting piece of information about its secret, highly-anticipated debut game.

Herschel Beahm IV (aka Dr Disrespect) has made his name as one of the most famous streamers in the world, with is his iconic mullet and love for battle royale games. However, the YouTuber has admitted that he is becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the games which have become so synonymous with his streams. He's even regularly speaking out against his beloved Warzone

So, the Doc decided to do something about it. Teaming up with some incredibly creative former Halo and CoD devs, Dr Disrespect launched a new AAA game studio called Midnight Society. While we've not heard very much about the studio's first game, a recent 'leak' appears to reveal some exciting news about the studio's first title.

What Did Was The Leak About Midnight Society's New Game?

Midnight Society may have only been announced in December 2021, but already a huge amount of hype surrounds the studio's first game. We've had some pieces of concept art featuring the bleak, dystopian world of what is suspected to be a battle royale, but not much else.

However, some dedicated fans on the studio's Discord chat received some mysterious and cryptic messages from the Midnight Society on March 12, which seemed to give a taster of exciting things to come. According to one Reddit user "Adrian", the first 500 people who finished an alternate reality game (ARG) in the chat, received a "founders access pass airdrop."

Although it didn't offer a proper look at the game, it did reveal that there is an event due to take place on March 15 titled 'Wake Up', via Dr Disrespect's main YouTube channel. According to Adrian, the studio could well be on the well to "releasing or announcing a closed beta."

Upcoming Midnight Society Dev AMA 'Announced'

As well as getting a taste of what Midnight Society has in store for us with its debut game, Adrian also claimed that the studio put up a developer Ask Me Anything event "for a few minutes before removing it." Thankfully, Adrian managed to snap a quick screenshot, which claimed the AMA is due to place on March 17.

As of writing, there is no word about the AMA from Midnight Society on its website or its Twitter page. However, one notable change is that the home page welcomes viewers with a title page saying "stand by." Whereas, on March 14 via a cryptic Twitter post, the studio announced that an "Arena Takeover [was] Near Completion."

There is still a great deal of mystery surrounding Midnight Society and its upcoming debut battle royale game. While the studio may be teasing us with some cryptic messages, it's clear progress is being made on Midnight Society's first title.
