The Sims 4 Growing Together expansion pack has finally been released, bringing with it a set of new aspirations for children sims. This has been a long-awaited Sims 4 feature with many players expressing that there haven’t been enough aspirations for children so far.

For an in-depth breakdown of all the new aspirations that come with The Sims 4 Growing Together, read here.

Aspirations are goals that give sims direction in their lives. Some aspirations, like child aspirations, are locked to that specified life stage. Whilst others can be completed throughout adulthood.

Aspirations give sims a set of goals to complete and whilst it is not mandatory to complete these, doing so will yield special aspirations rewards and satisfaction points which can be traded in at the reward store for special perks and items.

It is possible to set your sim a new aspiration at any time if you have changed your mind or if you have completed the previous aspiration and wish to set another. Simply, click on the aspirations tab (left most tab at the bottom right corner of the screen) and select the star icon to 'Select New Aspiration'. This will take you to a list with all available aspirations to choose from for your current life stage.
