If your sim is in a Political Career, they will need to complete an activity in The Sims 4 where they secure the votes of the people around them. This includes family members, acquaintances, friends, and even co-workers.

If you’re struggling to do so, here's everything you need to know about how to secure votes in The Sims 4.

How can you secure votes in The Sims 4?

If your Sim wants to become a politician and they choose to become a national leader, they’ll need to learn how to secure the votes of the people. The action you have to do in the game in order to secure the votes is simple. Here are the steps you have to take:

  • Open the Friendly Interaction menu
  • Go to Political Career
  • Click on Secure Votes

Do this in any conversation with someone who is of legal voting age in the game, and you will either secure their vote or get denied, and be forced to ask someone else for their vote instead. There are actions you can do that will boost your chances of being successful:

  • One of the best things you can do is befriend the person you’re going to ask. This will raise your chances of them voting for you significantly
  • Equally, be confident. Having a confident moodlet allows your sim to be more persuasive when they are talking to others and giving them their pitch
  • Promote your policies. If the sim is interested in the policies that you’re promoting, they have a higher chance of saying yes to voting for you

That’s everything you need to know about how to secure votes in The Sims 4 in a political career.
