How to get Night Vision Goggles in Sons of the Forest
With the latest Sons of the Forest update, a host of new equipment and craftable items have been released in the game, including Night Vision Goggles. Night Vision Goggles in Sons of the Forest allow players to finally traverse the map at night without the fear of blindly walking into mutants.

Where can you get the Night Vision Goggles?

The Night Vision Goggles are in a cave, southwest of the snowy mountains, as indicated on the map above. The cave is relatively small compared to others and has one entry/exit point.
Click to enlargeAs you approach the cave entrance, it will be slightly submerged in a pond. Enter the cave and you'll notice a skeleton on an armchair, take the goggles from the skeleton and loot the crates nearby.
If the goggles aren’t on the skeleton, exit the cave and reload your save as it may be bugged.
How to use Night Vision Goggles
Night Vision Goggles are useless during the day and will obscure your vision if you're using them with a flashlight. At night, however, they can be used by selecting them in your inventory menu, once selected you can toggle them on or off with the L Key.

You can also hotkey them to a number on your keyboard for quick use by hovering your mouse over them in the inventory menu and pressing the correlating key you wish to attach it to. This will assign the object to that number for future use.
Although the Night Vision Goggles can be extremely useful for tackling the larger, darker caves, they require batteries, so you must be tactical when choosing to equip them.
