The Sims 4 Vampires cheats & how to unlock ranks, perks & powers

The Vampires Game Pack added the sunlight-avoiding, bat-transforming, and garlic-avoiding Occult into The Sims 4, and as is the case with its many other DLCs, there's a whole set of cheats to go along with them.

Offering Simmers the chance to work up the vampiric ladder to become a Master Vampire, if you don't want to wait to join the ranks of the undead, you can use the game's cheats for a headstart - perfect for kickstarting a specific storyline or to try all of the cool powers for vampire Sims.

As you gain experience in The Sims 4 as a Vampire, you'll be able to unlock new powers that will help you on your way to becoming an almost unstoppable force of nature. From being able to detect another Sim's personality to gaining immunity against the dreaded garlic (gasp!) - there are lots of cool ones.

Luckily, you can cheat your way to them if you don't want to go through the hassle of ranking your vampire up.

First, though, you'll need to access a Sim's ID, as that's an important part of the codes for these powers. Use the 'Sims.get_Sim_id_by_name [First Name] [Last Name]' cheat first, and then replace the (SimID) section of the below codes with that number. 

For example, in the case of my Sim, if I wanted to add the 'Vampiric Charm' power, I'd enter 'bucks.unlock_perk AlluringVisage_3 true 40961 1120290458968982602'.

You can unlock these powers regardless of your rank, so have at them and add whichever ones you like.

Now that you've got access to all of the different powers, you'll likely want to boost a Sim's rank up a bit - so use the following codes to progress through them:

Grand Master vampires can continue to learn powers without taking additional weaknesses, which are a requirement when taking the powers (the exception being if you've cheated the powers above, of course.)

The Vampires Game Pack comes with a couple of reward traits that Sims will be rewarded with when completing Aspirations, but you can add them to a Sim in a jiffy with the following:

If your Sim has yet to even become a vampire, you've got a couple of different options available to you, as there's a code which triggers the vampiric process and another which will instantly transform them.

Either one is viable, it just comes down to whether you want to play through the transformation process or trim all the fat and have them become immortal instantly:

The Vampire Lore and Pipe Organ skills are new to Vampires, and you can adjust the above codes to your liking, with 10 being the cap for both of these. I tend to set my own Sims at around 7-9, so that they still have a little bit of growth left to do in a particular skill.

How to use cheats

As always, before imputing a cheat, you'll have to open the cheat bar and enable cheats in your game. Once cheats are enabled in your game trophies and achievements will no longer be available in your save file.

• To open the cheat bar, press CTRL + Shift + C if you're on PC
• Mac users will need to hold Command + Shift + C
• Console Simmers, you'll want to hold in all four triggers at one

You'll then get a white box pop up in the top-left of your screen. Here, input 'testingcheats true' and press 'Enter' to enable the cheats option, and you can then use any of the codes on this page.
