A map of the new Copperdale Sims 4 High School Years World has been leaked online. The old mining town of Copperdale in The Sims 4 is due to release with the expansion on July 28 but has faced an early leak on Twitter showing the types of lots we can expect from the pack. For more information on the Cooperdale map leak and how it connects to the curved walls leak, read on.

The Sims 4 High School Years: Map Leak

Originally leaked by the throwaway account 'A8gu293j' on Twitter, this map is the first look we've had at the new Copperdale lots. Also, the account is of questionable origin, the map looks like official maps we've had before. Fans have even questioned if the leak comes from Maxis themselves as a pre-sale teaser. This is speculative, however, with the origins of the map unknown. What adds to the map's credence, is its setting of an old mine town, with a carnival setting shown by the icon which aligns with what we've seen from the announcement trailer, earlier this July.

The map also features a residential lot with curved walls, on the bottom right of the image. This had added speculation following the supposed curved walls leak.

The map features several lots including:

  • 12 lots altogether
  • Editable High School with unique symbol (meaning it will have its own lot type assigned to it)
  • A Park
  • A Bubble Tea Shop
  • Thrift Store
  • Four residential lots
  • Library
  • Two unmarked (possibly residential) lots
  • An estate (possibly residential)
  • Three different neighbourhoods

The Sims 4 High School Years: Curved Walls

The curved wall leak speculates that curved walls will be coming as a build mode mechanic in the Sims 4 High School Years pack. The original leak showing a curved wall came from the Twitter account 'throwmeaway98123955' which has since been deleted, raising suspicions on whether the leak was real or not.

Since the initial leak, fans have made comparisons with the window matching up to a new window revealed in the Sims 4 High School Years announcement trailer.

With more authority attributed to it, the recent map leak of Copperdale further gives speculation about curved walls being added to the game. As we can see from the house with the green icon on the map, the outer wall seems to curve around. It also appears to be the same house shown on the original curved wall leak.

So far, both leaks are speculative, stay tuned for more information on the upcoming expansion.
