Where is the wrench in Resident Evil 4 Remake?

At a certain point in the Resident Evil 4 Remake, you will arrive at the Regenerator Labs on the island, where you will need to increase the security clearance level of a keycard, so you can use it to enter Ashley's cell and rescue her.

During a section of this task, you will find yourself in the Incubation Lab next to an Overwrite Terminal. This terminal will be locked off, and you will be required to find a wrench so you can access it. Finding this wrench can be hard, but luckily it's not far away and just requires you to use a specific piece of equipment.

Located next to the Overwrite Terminal, you will find a Biosensor Scope, which is a weapon attachment that can be equipped with a rifle or TMP, essentially giving you infrared vision.

If you also read a note in this room, it will tell you that one of the Regenerators escaped and absorbed the wrench into themselves.

Putting two and two together, you can use the scope to look at the four Regenerators who are suspended in pods in the next room. You will notice that one of them has a wrench inside them, and the Biosensor Scope will also highlight the parasites located inside them.

Using the scope, shoot the Regenerator with the wrench inside them, and they will fall out of the pod. Now quickly finish them off by shooting all the parasites inside them, and you can pick up the wrench after.

Take the wrench back to the Overwrite Machine, and you will be able to increase the security clearance of your keycard, allowing you to access Ashley's cell.
