Dates and times
As confirmed on the official Pokemon GO blog, the Regidrago Pokemon GO Elite Raid will take place at take place at three separate times on Saturday, 11 March 2023: 11AM local time, 2PM local time, and 5PM local time.
As an Elite Raid, you'll be able to spot where the Regidrago Pokemon GO raid will be on map by looking for the special Raid Eggs on top of gyms, appearing 24 hours before each scheduled raid. Each Regridrago raid will only be active for 30 minutes once a Raid Egg hatches, so you'll need to act quick.
Being a pure Dragon type, there are three varieties of Regidrago Pokemon GO counters you can use: those with Ice, Dragon, and Fairy-type attacks - all for 1.6 x super-effective damage. Whilst using a Dragon-type is a riskier bet since it will also be weak to Regidrago's Dragon-type attacks, it can still be worth the gamble since Dragon-type attacks deal higher damage.
So, as long as you have a raid party of 3-4 players of Level 35+ with teams of Pokemon with members like Gardevoir, Salamence, Latios, Mamoswine, or Weavile - in Mega Evolution forms as a bonus if possible - you should be able to take on and defeat this Regidrago Pokemon GO raid with little issue.
Along with the opportunity to catch Regidrago for yourself after beating the Elite Raid, you'll also unlock exclusive Timed Research. After you complete the given research tasks, this Regidrago Pokemon GO research will reward you with allotments of Regirock Candy, Regice Candy, and Registeel Candy.
However, you can only unlock this Timed Research once though. This means you won't receive it again if you beat multiple Regidrago raids.
